Eva Rainforth

Currently Living in Pittsburgh PA, Singer-Songwriter Eva Rainforth has performed with The Pittsburgh Symphony, The River City Brass Band, The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, The Mendelssohn Choir, and currently sings with The Pittsburgh Opera Chorus. Regional Credits include: The Papermill Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre, The New England Lyric Opera, The Paper Bag Players, City Center Theatre in NYC, and The Pittsburgh Playhouse, among others. Originally from Sayville, Long Island, Eva started out as a composition major at Fredonia State University and continues to write many styles of music. In 2019, She wrote original music to Caryl Churchill’s play Vinegar Tom which was produced and performed at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. Before that, Eva released a CD of Nonsense songs called, “Ear Worms” and is getting ready to release another CD of original songs called “Out of Control”.
 
Eva has also written a series of Art Songs and poems (“A series of funny and engaging songs about life…” –Pittsburgh Trib.) that has been fashioned into a one-woman theatrical recital called ‘Modern American Art Songs, with a twist.’ Eva is certified in Somatic Voicework™ and currently teaches private voice in the conservatory at Point Park University.
